Our client grew up around Templer Park in the 50’s and 60’s, so he remembers when the rivers ran clear and has fond recollections of Bukit Takun looming over him and his friends like a guardian. That’s why he chose this land, with a good view of his childhood protector, as the site for his new development. We tried to pay homage to his memories, while designing the home to reflect 1920’s modernist LA sensibilities. The home layout accommodates different levels of privacy and is well equipped for modern living. Ample windows provide as much of a view of Bukit Takun as possible, one of the most important factors for the client. Perhaps nostalgia is infectious, as this project attracts the most inquiries of our prospective clients.
